My name is Jennifer Hladkowicz (you can call me Jen and try and pronounce my last name if you dare). I am a wedding and equestrian photographer. I have been fascinated with photography from a young age and am very lucky to be working in a job I love. I’ve worked as a wedding photographer since 2009, under different companies and under my own name. Love Free Studio as a brand officially launched in 2018 and I’m excited to see where it will take me and for all the celebrations I will be honoured to capture! I wanted to create a business that reflects my values of inclusivity, as a Queer woman myself.
The beginning of 2019 marks a full re-brand for my wedding photography; my heart lies in true documentary coverage of a wedding day. I am an introvert by nature, and while I can command large groups of people and pose them accordingly, quietly observing moments as they happen is much more aligned with my personality. Since studying art history in University and commercial photography in college (I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Ottawa and a Photography diploma from Algonquin College), I have always been drawn to street and social documentary photography (Robert Frank, Robert Capa…and many others not named Robert)…
While I am based out of Ottawa, I love to travel and am available throughout Canada as well as select international destinations. I am an insured and registered business and a member of the Professional Photographer’s Of Canada
